Love is the most amazing thing, isn’t it? But spending time with the person we love in amazing romantic places, steals the day. In a city like Delhi, we often feel out of place and space to be with our partner. And in a country like India, stealing a few kisses and hugs out in the open feels like a scandal.

So, while we dwell on how people look at us when we go about the city together, there are a few romantic places where couples can actually breathe in without having to fear being judged or stared at. Therefore, without further ado lets hop into the list.

Haus Khas village

Haus Khas village is one of the hotspots in Delhi and one of the most visited romantic places for an amorous day out. Situated in South Delhi, the place is stunning out and out. The entire complex divides into 4 parts: the Fort area, the lake area, the restaurants and the deer park. Each section of the place has its beauty and speciality. You can roam around the Fort and click spectacular pictures or you can sit by the lake and have a little romantic picnic of your own. Further, you can take a walk in the deer park and see the deers meanwhile having a romantic moment. After that, when you get hungry you can bounce to the food area and divulge into great delicacies.

Garden of 5 senses

This one is also located in South Delhi. It is one of the lesser-known romantic places in Delhi. Therefore, is not usually very crowded. This place is as gorgeous as its name. There are sitting areas in the complex, an enclosure with a stage where several events take place or you see groups of artists practising or chilling. The food areas present are both take-away and sitting. There are different gardens inside of this huge garden and rock mountains and secret hiding places and a lot more. Garden of five senses is a gem and the more you explore the more surprising it becomes.

Qutub Minar

Apart from being an outstanding World Heritage site, Qutub Minar, above all, is also accountable for a lovers site. The Minar itself is a beauty to visit not to mention the garden surrounding it acts as a cherry on top. There is a huge area around Qutub Minar where people daily throw picnics and just sit and soak in the Sun. The place usually is crowded being a World Heritage site, nevertheless you can still steal a few moments there with your loved one while coddling in the beauty of Qutub Minar.

Agrasen ki Baoli

Agrasen ki Baoli is again a little underrated when it comes to romantic places and we can’t say it’s a bad thing! It is not a huge place but sure is hugely ravishing.
The place has a little hunch of haunting in it so it becomes one of the top places to visit for the adventurous couples out there.

Lodhi Garden

Lodi Garden is a spectacular place to be. The area is ginormous with the beautiful mini fort, the well-maintained garden and beautifully elaborated sections. There are trees everywhere and small artificial ponds, bridges, benches and even separate areas for photoshoots. Sure a dreamy place to be in. Visit here with your beloved and spend some quality time in the sitting under the shades of trees surrounded by peace and calming wind.

Central Park

In the heart of Connaught Place sits this handsome garden network. The enormous flag fluttering overhead while you sit there with your beloved in your arms having a nice chat and having popcorn from the little packs they sell there. Isn’t the image so lovey-dovey? It sure is.

The Ridge

The ridge is again one of the hidden gems of the city for the love birds. Located near the North Campus of Delhi University, this place is huge. Seriously this place is enormous. It is kind of a little jungle with monkeys covering up for all the other animals. There are a lot of monkeys there but they don’t harm or bother you as long as you don’t. The place is beautiful of its accords. There are benches to sit, rocks to climb, tracks to walk and monkeys to feed! You can have a quiet and peaceful time here away from the constant honking and chitter-chatter of the city around you.

Majnu ka Tila

Isn’t the name enough to know that it is for the romantics? Majnu, duh? Well, it is. Majnu ka Tila is famous for the food outlets nearby. Take your beloved there and have a good, much needed romantic date.

GIP

Thinking why GIP right? Well because we love this place. GIP is a mall and we are not talking about the insides of the mall but the outsides. If you ever go to GIP you’ll know that GIP has a big complex surrounding it. It has beautiful concrete sitting areas which are peaceful and cosy for some reason. You can sit there and nobody will bother you. There are eateries too outside the mall so you don’t have to bother going inside, just stay out and enjoy your day.

Nehru park

Nehru Park is another Hotspot for lovers in south Delhi. Situated near Race Course, this is a magnificent park. It has flower gardens, open gym, running tracks, rock hills, picnic spots, beautiful pathways and so much more. And the best part we feel is the park is so well maintained. Seeing the size of the park we bet its a hell of a task but they manage it so well. A must-visit for all the love birds.

Gurgaon DLF cyber hub

Well, not technically a garden or area specified for lovers but this made the list of romantic places because this place blew our minds. Cyberhub is a bomb of a place. There are so many eateries here to choose from and not just any cafes or restaurants, but the best of the best. And there is this huge sitting area with artificial grass in the heart of this place where it winds all the time. There are trees to protect you from the sun and you can just sit there having your chat and nobody will bother or look at you. It is in the middle of a commercial area so everybody is busy except you, take advantage of that. You eat delicious food and sit on the beautiful benches and relax in the arms of your THE one.

Dilli Haat

This one is again not technically a love birds place but no two couples are the same, are they? So while some enjoy peaceful garden areas, others enjoy roaming and seeing good things. Dilli Haat is known for roaming and seeing good things. Go there with your crazy lover and enjoy your day. And don’t forget to bring along your camera because you would want to click some pictures there.

NSP

NSP is a hidden masterpiece of North West Delhi. Not many people from other parts know about this place. NSP is known for amazing food outlets and chilling areas. Choose any cuisine or dish and you will find it here for sure. So if you are a Foodie couple, write this place down in your bucket list.

Old fort

Old can never go wrong, and we can’t agree more. The old fort is THE romantic spot in Delhi. The first destination every new couple thinks of to spend some quality we-time is mostly the Old fort. The place is quiet and picturesque. There is no entry fee. The people there are mostly couples so they mind their own business. There are different section in the arena which gives you the chances to explore. A must in the list of romantic places in Delhi if you haven’t already been there yet.

Red Fort

Well talking of forts, how can we leave behind the beloved Red Fort of our Delhi. This place does have an entry fee which is okay and it’s worth it. Additionally, the Fort is more a tourist spot than a lovers one, nevertheless you’ll have a good time here if you haven’t been before.

India Gate

India Gate is not just a lovers place but its everyone’s place. Anyone who is in Delhi if think of going someplace to have fun and spend time, India gate pops up first thing in mind. It’s a picnic spot, it’s a romantic spot, it’s a friends spot, it’s a school tour spot, it’s THE Spot in Delhi.

Kingdom of dreams

Kingdom of dreams is a few miles outside of Delhi and why is it making the list of romantic places is because it is a place for foodies, adventurers, theatre lovers, and people who just love to travel and explore. All things considered, they do have a ticket system thus we would say choose this place only after seeing what it offers first.

Farmhouses in Chattarpur

Now if you are planning a full-fledged date experience in a nice cottage with a pool and a view, and wanting to stay in for a couple of days, then farmhouse is the choice for you my friend. There are plenty of farmhouses in and outside Delhi you can choose from. Just Google up and you are settled. By and large many of the famous ones are in Chattarpur, so you can start from there.
