Goa is also known as a very safe place, you can roam around the city at nights in all hours and you won’t feel the tiniest sensation of fear or uneasiness. The locals are full spirited and helpful in every way possible. And all these things sum up to say that Goa is a perfect destination for a family trip.

Day 1: Arrival

Depending on the time of arrival, if you arrive in the evening or night then take rest and have a good night’s sleep.
If arriving in the day time:
Day & Night:

  • Tour the nearby markets in North Goa.
  • Go to any of the beaches in the evening and stay there all night.
  • Have candlelight dinner at the beach shack with family.

North Goa is a happening place with many things to see, places to go and adventures to do.
Day:

  • Calangute Beach
  • Baga Beach
  • Anjuna Beach
  • Vagator Beach
  • Aguada Fort
  • Coco Beach
  • Panaji Handicrafts Emporium

Tip: You can go to all the places in one day, but to really enjoy the places, select any 3 of them to cover.

Night:

  • Titos lane
  • Pousada by the Beach
  • Sea Breeze
  • Spice Goa

Tip: Titos lane is the most happening place at night in Goa. You can just go there and find yourself any good seafood restaurants (there are plenty of them). Or you can go to any of the above-mentioned places for a good ‘fishy’ meal.

Day 3: Day – South tour/ Night – Casino

Tip: The journey between North to South Goa is a remarkable one with a total distance of 170 km up and down approx. This journey will actually make you realize why the journey is always better than the destination.

If not very tired after the long journey then hit-

Tip: The adults can enjoy a nice game here. Children and youngsters below 25 years of age are not permitted, they can enjoy the meal and dance.

Day 4: Dudh Sagar Falls

Day 5: Shopping

Depending upon the time of your departure, roam around the city and shop your wallets away.

  • Anjuna Flea market
  • Saturday night bazaar at Anjuna
  • Beach markets at Baga, Calangute and Candolim

A few fun things to do before you go home:

  • Get a temporary tattoo at any of the beach shops
  • Girls, get hair braids at a beach by the locals
  • Drink Fenny
  • Buy Cashews, you will find the best in Goa
  • Visit any Church
  • Have coconut water
  • Get pictures with locals
